Well, let's see. If you could seer the steak, would it a vision of steak? If it's far away, would be a television of steak? Or does that require a Nostradamus? (& did he hang out in Paris, near the cathedral? Inquiring minds, doncha know.)

Is there a specific criteria used?

At this point, I doubt if more than...maybe...5% of the population is aware of the fact that "criteria" is the plural form of "criterion".

Yes, yes! Richard Simmons of slimming fame always said the first thing you had to do was rip out the 'fridge, oven/microwave, freezer - the plumping fixtures. & truer words were never bespoke.

Ha ha! Well, right now my oven doesn't work and my fridge is on its last legs. No plumping for me!!

Hmmm...I guess that those appliances were made to accommodate ONLY Ballpark brand frankfurters.

Pa's fiddle is there (in the small museum a few yards from the house itself), but I think Mary's original organ is still in De Smet (a duplicate may be at Rocky Ridge - just can't remember). Visitors were able to go upstairs when I visited, but it's been many years ago.

When I visited Rocky Ridge, the caretaker/tour guide, Irene L., was a pleasant lady who had been friends with Laura and who had assisted her as she grew older, so she had lots of personal anecdotes to share. She was an ideal tour guide!

An online newspaper reader's comment about the current terrible fires in the Great Smokies and neighboring Gatlinburg:

"Living in these regains is fraught with natural events like these, as you get allot of benefits you also get the downside. Marry Christmas!"

(Authorities are terming these unprecedented fires once in a century events...).
