I mean how did this really happen, something must have gone really bizzurque to go from that point to what we have here today. I mean did they really elect Trump and how did this really happen??

I hate when things go bizzurque!

I ate here last week:

As you can see, they offer "Family Dinning" from 11:30 to 7:00 pm. Luckily, we were there after 7 so it was nice and quiet.

Just to clarify - I'm not either of the people in that picture. It was the only picture I could find with a Google Image search that showed the "Family Dinning" sign legibly.

I hope they didn't get dinned while eating. I wonder whose mistake that sign was--the owners or the sign makers.

Lately I've seen "chock it up" so many times that I finally had to look it up to see if it was correct and I was the one who is wrong. Seems that I may have come here before to complain about that one but---IT'S TAKING OVER!

A chock is what we put in front of the wheels of our camper so it won't roll. Chalk is something you write with and you can keep score with it or ascribe something to it, as in "chalk it up."

CHALK.

My guess is the owners - you can't see it in the picture but the other window has the same misspelling, and that picture is two years old. If the owners wanted it fixed, it would have been fixed by now.

I'd like to add that the food was really good, the service prompt and polite, and the atmosphere congenial. It's a really nice pub, they just aren't good spellers.

CHALK.
I see it often as "chaulk". I have no idea what that means.

Fun fact: Columbus never set food in the US.

Ah, if only he'd known. He'd baked a khaki!

Or maybe they're just having a really miserable dry spell?

Maybe once the drought is over, they'll fix the sign?

Or maybe it's just a dry sense of humor (stop me if you've heard these before ...)? Mayhap it's flinty?
