8-10 homeschooled kids would blow a public school kid out of the water In what they know. we had strict guild line when I was homeschooled and we had to test at the end of the year with our equivalent grade. But we were us ally light years ahead. Yes your right the smartest person in the grade was usually a public school kid but if you a class with 500 kids and 20 homeschoolers. I would have went into 1 grade well behind my class but instead I went into 9th grade quite far ahead with most of the students in my grade. I was very lucky for moth to be able to do that!

...and he/she is likely to pass his/her...knowledge...to the next generation in the family by home-schooling them as well.

I have to laugh at the private message I received today. It was informing me that the bad grammar that I posted in this thread was... well, bad grammar. Apparently someone doesn't realize the point of this thread. They didn't identify themselves, so I can't respond directly to them. But, yes, I realize that the correct word is "boorish." That's exactly the reason I posted it here in "I can't take it anymore. Part 2."

It's bad enough when one person slaps you in the face, but for both the Commander and the Chief to do it is just terrible!
