I have to give full credit where it is due on this one!
From an article about Volkswagens on the front page, above the fold, in the local newspaper this morning, in a sidebar of "bullet points" titled "By the numbers", and ascribed to The Associated Press:

"38 gallons...The amount of additional gasoline the owner of a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta diesel would have to by each year if a fix decreases the vehicle's fuel economy by 3 miles per gallon."

Gasoline?? The owner of a diesel car has to buy gasoline?
I guess it shows how well computers do proofreading!
