That'll teach those bloody whingers "wanting" heat, heat and more horrible heat as well as murderous sunshine.
Just be careful what you wish for as those horrible elements strike without warning!
It's been bloody awful outside since Monday.
I don't know how I'd cope without A/C, feel very sorry for those without - they're walking around like half dead and half dazed zombies. Domestic violence, brawls and boozing on the rise. Funny how heat does this to a lot of people but when it's colder, the opposite occurs?

It's gotten that bad that some "western" based friends are staying at my place because their homes are reading temperatures up to 35 degrees inside as their A/C has broken down so for the sake of their baby boys, they've asked if it's ok to stay inside my A/C home to which I've allowed.
This heatwave is absolutely evil and murderous. Over 200 people have been taken to hospital suffering from heat stress. Over 75 bushfires are burning out of control!
Don't recall an occasion where I've had to rush from one A/C place to another in such a hurry.
This heatwave has been absolutely horrendous; bring on the cold change expected from Sunday midday onwards.

Just a different flavour of unhappiness.

Funny,
I hate coolness sometimes and I'm Canadian.
You seem to hate warmth and your a Texan.
I'm NOT a Texas; I just live here. I'm actually a Californian where summers were good. Summers are not good in Texas. Warmth is okay; hot and humid is not.

Yeah, I was looking at that on a radar early this morning. Looks like DFW got all the snow instead.

I noticed on the news this evening Houston appeared to be a bit icy on the roads. Of course, that isn't snow, but at least the weather was colder.

28 C was forecasted for today, but what was the actual high? 22 C -- 6 C below forecasted! Still, that's not as bad as last week when it was a whole 10 C below the forecast. What is it with these stupidly optimistic forecasts? It's like they do it deliberately just to get my hopes up only to have them dashed by cruel reality. I'm regarding the forecast 19 C low and tomorrow's 31 C high with suspicion.

We also had barely an hour of sun today.

More melodrama in this post than a Home & Away omnibus .
And more adjectives than a tourist brochure .

"Horrible heat....murderous sunshine......bloody awful....half dazed zombies....absolutely evil and murderous.....burning out of control....absolutely horrendous."

Suck it up....Or - move to Tasmania (LOL).
