If you apply yourself and do the work you will succeed, a strong base knowledge also helps which is knowledge from putting in the work before.
I disagree.
If you are stupid you aren't ever going to get an A.

That's because they were raised stupid, never learned anything when they were younger.

I know some people who were as you say stupid and failed gr 12, then they woke up and did very well and went on to university where they are doing great.

I disagree.

Theres only so far you can go. I am one of those people who would study and study and not get lots of A's. I know lots of students who don't bother at all and get lots of A's which just irritates me.

Like I studied like hell for my As levels and I bet I end up with 3 C's and then some brat who clearly didn't bother his ass ends up with a pile of top marks. But anyway thats the way it goes. I just hate it.

I find it embaressing because they'll be saying "look at him studying his ass off and only getting C's"

How do you fail 12 grains of aspirin or nitroglycerin? (sorry, gr x is medical terminology of x amount of grains, a medical weight measure. Couldn't resist )

There are some people like that, who study their assess off and don't get A's. I'm one of those people with things that involve substantial use of numbers and equations. Then there are the lucky SOBs whose brains are practically solid state drives.

Yes. But often those people aren't actually smart. They just remember everything well.

I hate this weather. It's almost 8 AM, yet so dark I can barely see the keyboard without any lights on. Just depressing. I don't understand what there is to like about thunderstorms such as this one.

I personally love it when it's warm, yet so dark. I think that's my favorite type of weather; a thunderstorm with comfy temperatures and dark skies (but during day). Too bad the major thunderstorms here always happen in the evenings.
