You've had dew points in the 70's for weeks. That would be diabolical here without having any a/c. At least our recent warm weather hasn't had high dew points, well apart from the last couple of days.
We had 29C at 14:00 on Monday, the dew point at the time was 72F. That's about as tropical as it gets here.
Snow falling is pointless - look at how much snow falling Shetland gets, but look at how little of it actually settles.
The other map just shows that northern England is far, far snowier than Northern Ireland, and most of the rest of England is similar to Northern Ireland.

It's been in the 60s part of the time the last few days, but otherwise, yes. But you can imagine what a change it will feel to have cooler highs and sub 15°C dew points.
