Still dunno why you want to emigrate here so bad when Canada suits your climate preferences better, plus you have a 100% higher chance of successfully getting inside.

Atmospheric Scientists, Including Meteorologists : Occupational Outlook Handbook : U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics

Plus, getting a meteorology job with NOAA and their departments will require U.S. citizenship. There are no federal jobs open to non-citizens

Because I love it and I hate it here!

Also I don't really like Canada and I find their accent very irritating. Also i'm sure there are other companies.

You don't go to a place to work based on the accents of other people. Also, pilots don't earn $150,000 straight out of uni (and few earn that much anyway).

What's wrong with Canada? Accents don't matter. You won't even notice it after several months when you're living there

Lol, exactly. You go where you can get a job. Getting into the U.S. as a meteorologist is a non-starter, best hope would be in the private sector as the public sector requires you to be a US citizen. Even then, job prospects are average for entry-level meteorologists, so Owen would face considerable competition from an American who lives in the country already and doesn't need thousands of dollars paid out in fees to get his papers in order.

I looked up what the median pay for a pilot was, and it's $103,210 in May 2010. I imagine that is mostly for pilots for major airlines, not regional or low cost like JetBlue or Southwest. Owen would have a better chance of finding a job here as a pilot according to the BLS, all factors being equal, that is

I don't like it. Everything is expensive and it is miles behind america. The part of canada I lived in was worse than where I live now!

Well, the expensive part is very true, according to what I hear, and it being miles behind in what sense? I'm guessing it has something to do with its small population?

Yeah but where you lived in Canada, you're excluding the other 99% of the country.
