And so is one of the runways and the tram system. I hope our flight is not delayed really badly as we will already be arriving late. We will have to tape our eyes open.
While arriving at EWR, expect the nominal delay to be 30 minutes.
I should mention.... they are on the same track. I've caught trains to uni for a good 5 years, and the way the express services on my line are scheduled is a shambles. It leaves 3 minutes behind the stopper from Dandenong all the way to Melbourne, which is 30km and something like 20 stations. So my so-called express in the morning peak crawls along at walking pace all the way in... and instead of stopping at stations, it stops at red signals in the middle of nowhere
The NI trains are just hideous. We take the train to Belfast and it takes 2 hours to travel 70 miles!! Its ridiculous in England it would take about half an hour.

How logical is the pricing structure for rail tickets in your countries? Ours makes almost no sense at all - I have to go to London for a few days next month, and ended up buying first-class tickets because they were cheaper than second class! Also, a one-way ticket from Skipton to Leeds (about 25 miles or 40 minutes, quite a decent line) costs £9.10 but a return only £9.30.
Train fares are just ridiculous in this country and make no sense sometimes.
From where I live in Surrey, about 30 minutes from London Waterloo station by train, it costs £14 return. A day travel card costs about £19 which is quite a lot as well.
What is even more ridiculous is the fact that my train ticket from Norwich to Exeter the other week (maybe about 300 miles in journey, and travelling through London) was only £25!!
Don't you just love it as well when you go on the website to buy tickets in advance and there are about six completely different prices for exactly the same ticket? Though I've heard that they've apparently simplified it...though obviously not that much if first class can be cheaper than second.

Today, its $ 98 to go from Princeton, NJ to my relatives house in Manassas, VA.
The SunRail trains put the Long Island Railroad's trains to shame.
Good lol. A large locomotive train barreling through a major city at street-level would probably be dangerous.
Yeah, exactly - a large locomotive train. Why are they so large? And why are the trains running along street level? Streets are for trams, not for trains. They just look unnecessarily large, bulky and slow. Or maybe I'm just used to smaller, faster trains powered by electric overhead cables.
