We had about 13 days of snow falling, too. I guess Northern Ireland and here are equally snowy this year.
Really? Just 13? I counted 24 for my area. Of course that includes non-accumulating snowfalls and single snowfall events that began on one day and stretched past midnight the next day.
He probably didn't count those non lying days and I don't understand why because snow is snow.
Snow falling days are different to snow lying days. I have had just 2 lying days but I have up to 50 before. (In a whole year)
No, I counted snow falling days. Some of the snowstorms in January missed us and went further south. January was rather dry here. Don't have data on snow lying days on hand. And no, I don't consider days when it snows and doesn't stick as a "real snowfall" (what's the point if it doesn't stick?) but for the purposes of comparison I counted the snow falling days.
Have just booked a round the world cruise for my entire family, including cousins, second cousins & even my auntie thrice removed, only had to use the loose change I found down the back of the sofa so it hasn't made even the slightest dent in my wealth...
Found a cheap flight with a 10 hour layover in EWR, might take that one to get on UAL with the seat-back Tv's and the fantastic service in order to get a day in NYC. We will see.
