So what's up with the atmospheric river battering England?? I mean we make fun of England for it raining all the time, but wow the jokes are nothing compared to what's happening now

Its 0.5c and dropping. Susposedly it won't get above 1c today with snowshowers but the showers are very slow moving.

We will see what happens.

oh my god this is fab. Sorry but i'm so happy to finally see some lying snow its amazing. Its been snowing now for almost 2 hours and its gonna keep going!

If it snows from now to midnight we'd have lots! Lets hope it continues for another few hours! Road is starting to get that block snow on it where no amount of snow plowing will clear it.

Ugh i've had 19 inches before. Think if this continues we'll have enough to go upto your ankles. Its like that already on my grass and deck but on the concrete its not too thick as it has been mild here so it had to cool down.

Worst part about the snow in the UK is that its heavy wet snow. In other words, a PITA to shovel. Here, its usually half & half. Heavy wet snow has been recently dumped by an earlier storm and will be dumped on Thursday. But this January, we primarily got dry snow with low water equivalence ratio.
