My cousins from Germany entered the DV lottery. So far, no chance. But, AFAIK, Germany lodges the highest rate of DV lottery applications in Europe, or in the top 5. The whole DV lottery needs to be scrapped. It's so ****ed up the way it works. We give preference to NI, why? There's an assload of Irish living here already, illegally too (but none of the racist fools in P&OC ever bring that up). Brits can't apply, but Germans can when German-Americans make up the single largest ethnic group in the US? Right...oh well. My OH is going on the fast track here with a spouse visa, so no waiting in line for too long
