You're not bother that's almost impossible to walk outside without slipping?
Its a nuisance I'm willing to deal with. Admittedly getting out on the road tomorrow morning will be a challenge considering my car and driveway are completely covered in ice. Oh well.

Maybe it's more irritating to me because I walk / take the bus more than drive.
Just thinking how funny it is watching the reflection of the sun move across the rather un-even windows of the opposite building.
Due to the unevenness of the glass it looks like there are two, or sometimes three suns morphing on the glass and sometimes linking up with one another. Now it looks like one big sun with two small ones linked to each side. Weird!!!!!

If you can persuade those suns to up your sunshine tally this month, it will be a good job done!
There's a comment on a Chicago weather site that the last 8-9 days or thereabouts US-wide have produced only 37% of possible sun cf. average of 64.4%, and at Chicago only 10% against a 43% average.
I'm happy because we've had another sunny day - fifth in a row now due to a high pressure system situated over the UK and Ireland. It's also meant to be like this until Monday. The current air pressure is 1039hPa/30.68in and is expected to rise to 1043hPa/30.80in by noon tomorrow which is very high for us.
Very happy to hear/see we got hit by torrential downpours early Wednesday morning & this morning too. The Wednesday fall was quite exceptional - 25mm falling under half an hour so so.
About 65mm up to 9am today
Great to see the grass growing crazily, weeds too, and all the streets getting a real fresh cleansing stream of water
Happy the sun is getting higher in the sky these days, now it doesn't reflect in the windows of the opposite building and blind me.
