-22 C (-7.5 F) in Rothang pass, HP, India and this was in early May at 16000 ft up the Himalayas after a cold sweep from Siberia. I should go up there in January to see how cold it really gets.

The Indian army Soldiers say that it can dip as low as -40 C, which is immensely cold for a country like India. It rarely goes above 55 F (13 C)

12º in December of 1996, lived in the woods in Humboldt county and it started snowing 12 days before Christmas and we had 7 inches before night fall and then it cleared up. Temperatures fell to 15º over night and stayed there, the next day fell to 12º and the highest over the next five days during the day was 19º. Snow we are used to getting, but not a solid freeze like we got and our pond developed a foot of ice in just five days. The next summer we hit 118º and that was the hottest I have been in.

Probably only about -6C or so.. we have had colder minima but these would have been later at night so I wouldn't have been out in it.

9°F / -12.8°C, just last week.

But it only lasted about 25 seconds so it doesn't really count, I wasn't outside long enough to even feel the cold, and there wasn't any wind.
