The west bakes year round and never anymore rain and my area stays flat and dead with no real winters or rain.

That pattern forecast currently from both the UKMet and Euro model would be very active storms and cold for the Midwest and Northeast. I'm sold on it but La Nina winters can be active here with wild swings in temps

I want another winter of 2010 or 1983 when Tampa was 19f.

72f for once. Not been this cool in months thanks to high top T storms last nite. Back in a southwest flow so no rain for a while starting today.

We got close to a half inch of rain with a couple storms late last night. Now for a couple days in the low 80s before upper 80s return for the weekend.

We are so dry here and can't seem to get any rain. We had a slight chance today but now that seems to be gone this morning. High today is 82f.

So far the transition from summer to fall has been very slow and gradual. Our day time highs are mostly low 80's now with low humidity, lower dews, and a breeze, so while it's still in the 80's, that fall feeling is in the air. We still desperately need some rain.

ETA: I have no idea what my forecast actually is because every time I look at it, it has drastically changed from the day before.
