By contrast, Yellowknife at latitude 62°N and Tuktoyaktuk at latitude 69°N have yet to record freezes this autumn.

Warm and humid with scattered t-storms the next few days. Then fall-like conditions arriving later next week with some highs in upper 70's with sunny skies and lows in the 50's (lowest min the Wunderground is showing is 53F)!

Hammerfest (airport) and North Cape (Honningsvåg airport) at 71°N in Norway also has no freezes this autumn (coldest low 3.6°C and 2°C), but this is pretty normal.

3pm temps it's 86 degrees here but only 78F at Midway and 77F at ORD. Winds off of Lake Michigan cooling the city and immediate suburbs
