So far only ..60" this month so far. May get another .30" later this week. With this pattern we are not gonna get any heavy rain well into June. This will be one of the worst years for rain for my area at near 28" total so far. South FL and the pan handle have had 80"+ and most anywhere inland of me has had 45"+. This is what a west wind does all summer to my area.

High today was just 46F following last night's cold front. May stay in the 40's the next couple of days. May get close to freezing tonight if sky clears enough.

Intense squall line came thru yesterday evening with approach of cold front. Airport recorded wind gust of 62 mph!

Forecast looks surprisingly boring down here. May get a quarter inch of rain Tuesday night into Wednesday, but that's about it. Too much dry air down here.

Oh wow. All major models have a foot of snow for New York City.
Not very often that happens, they usually get rain from these storms while the inland areas get the snow.

Yup also throw the UK model in there too but on this model the line under 12" is closer to NYC

Nothing going on here

GFS has a major disruption of the Polar Vortex in 2 weeks time. This would lead to a very cold start to January. I'll believe it when I see it

I am not gonna bank on it. Just keep me below 80f all winter and i will be ok. Last two Feb's were blazing hot.

It's looking a bit more promising for getting some accumulating snow finally in Indianapolis, though it will be light. Over several hours tonight and during the day tomorrow most areas will see an inch of snow, some might get up to 2 inches.

We still have a lot of snow on the ground and have more forecasted for today. Today's high is 31f. We haven't been above 35 for several days now.

I thought December was supposed to be blow torch?

I like the look of this GFS out to December 29th. Now let's see if it verifies.
