Looks like the UHI was just enough to push some locations over the edge. Nice list

Here's LaGuardias temps this month. Only 1 heat wave. Every night above normal except 2 days.

Wait, is that 72hrs+ staying above 80°F??

Severe flash flooding happened right near me. 4.3" radar estimated rainfall fell in 2 hours in murrysville PA. Unreal damage. I had to go roundabout ways to work avoiding all valleys in my area. 2.2" in my gauge, which is a ton but clearly not 4"+. I'm closing in on 40" of precip this year already which is close to my annual average with 5 months to go.

Good news for us summer heat lovers.... Heat is coming back according to the GFS and Bastardi after a temporary cool down this week. Especially in the Northeast but also here.

Keep it away from me. I have 4 more months of 90's the way the falls have warmed up the last 8 years.

My current location hit 45.0°C ( 113°F) yesterday, which has been the hottest temp recorded this summer here so far. Today's my 4th day here. Tomorrow I am returning.

I saw some very sweat dark kurdish girls. I got in love with some of them.

Wow Wow! "When it rains it pours". They better be more proactive on clearing or adding drains. I'm waiting for that here. I got 37.89" for the year so it's possible when this front actually comes through I might hit 40" too.

FYI - Reminder why I could never move to the Mid Atlantic. Their heat waves are longer because the front takes longer to get there, sometimes it never does.. At least it's starting here. Dews in the 60s is a relief!? Still sunny from NJ south and in the 90s.
