Almost fall like here this morning at 58F. I'm scared if this pattern sticks around, it will switch to warm November thru February. I'm almost half rooting for heat knowing it will switch over at the right time lol

Strong polar upper low drops into Hudson Bay during the mid to late
week, gradually shearing the closed low currently over Northern
Quebec towards Greenland. The associated deep Eastern US troughing
will slowly weaken through the week as a result, with weak upper
ridging signaled for the weekend ahead of the next closed
shearing eastward just north of the Great lakes.

We dropped down to 58F last night. Not anywhere near the record low of 46F but it still felt much better than what we've had.

Everywhere around Cizre is higher elevated including the airport, which causes the maximum heat in Cizre. Currently I am in the airport, we went up in elevation. The weather cooled off. As for the provincial capital, it is a lot more elevated than both of them.

Currently

Cizre: 41.3°C
Airport: 39.2°C ( where I am now)
Provincial Capital: 32.2°C

Provincial capital ( Şırnak) has 1000 metres higher elevation than Cizre.

Avg high in LGA so far is 89.9F, would be 2nd highest ever (after 2010) if month ended today. Might go a bit down after this week, but should still be a very notable month

New run of GFS shows massive Ridge in the Midwest in 10 days time. Yesterday it showed a deep trough. Kirk says that the new run fits the evolving pattern. Hope he is right

63F with a dew point of 59F here at noon. Overcast skies right now, but it’ll be nice and sunny tomorrow once the front moves through. It rained most of yesterday, last night, and this morning.

The forecast low here tonight is 52F.
