Yup, last year we were cold and snowy in April, then Boom. A/C season with 80s and heat. No middle anymore. #NoSpring #NoFall lol

June last year was pretty normal but that means 80s and a couple of 90s anyway and a strong sun.

Summer 2018 wasn't too too bad though. I think we had like 2 or 3 heat waves here?

Yeah looks like that but I checked the bbc monthly outlook and it said that we should see above average temps from late may/early june, similar to last year right?

Looking back at summer 2018... It wasn't that bad actually!

For Hartford...

ONLY 3 HEAT WAVES! 1 was long duration June 29 to July 5th but notice after we hit 90 we would have a break down in the low 80s and even 60s & 70s. That's why summer didn't feel bad. We had cool breaks while humidity stayed high.

And Look at the low temps in the 50s in July! 10 of them. Wow. Below normal those nights.

IEM :: Monthly Summaries

Here is Bridgeport at the coast.

Only 13 days in the 90s. Only 2 Heat Waves! We had some nice 70s after we hit 90s last summer. Humidity stayed high though.

I hope so but nobody knows really. Like March and April, which started in disgusting fashion, it might just do a turnaround in the second half.

Slowly but surely any hopes for a warm first month to summer here are being dashed as we keep pilling on the rains this month

Blooming jacarandas start to be noteworthy around my area, so I guess that's a summer welcome.

High temps were around the higher 80s and the lower 90s (32°C) during the past 4 days, and today we reached 80 (26°C) already although we will have milder temps this upcoming week which is more spring-like.

Looks like Pittsburgh will be nice and dry, and Dallas will be chilly.
