Bull's eye seems to be right around Dulles and N&W of DC. Kind of interesting when model runs suggested southern suburbs would get the most in region.

Gotta love living N&W of a big city.

I'll post more maps tomorrow. Looks like many will be cleaning up in the morning.

Snow cover this morning... Chicago, Detroit and NYC got jipped with this storm. Nice large swath of snow though. Sometimes it's a narrow band.

Little below normal temps this week, but nothing crazy cold and need rain as it is getting dry. So much for El Nino.

Hmmm, do we need a re-count?

Look at the actual snowfall totals: Is more in Region 4?

I'd have to say that Region 4 should probably win because using the 72h map, central Missouri got more snow than central Illinois.

The key is which location got the most snow, not which region did. Region 3 may have gotten more snow because of its sheer size, but the location that got the most snow is in region 4.

That's how I thought of it too. I thought of the question as "which of these five regions will the single highest total be in?", and in that case, region 4 wins.

Hmm, the problem is its 1 or 2 reports in MO. Can they be trusted? I thought we were doing the biggest jackpot area. Because higher elevation spots would always win.

We may have to change the winners here. Need more proof though
