Finally landed on this forum after being on a Winter Northern Hemisphere 2018-2019, only to realize it was a photographic Forum! LOL! I thought, "What the hell is going on here!!! Where is Cambium and the others who report so faithfully!"
So, a foggy, wet day greeted us today! Rain continued to melt the remaining glaciers of snow-drifts in the Birch Meadows..Spied Little Sammy Acorn (our tiny, resident Red Squirrel), perched on top of the Bird Feeder Pole, gobbling suet. Haven't named our solo (he does not travel with a flock), Black-Capped Chickadee who frequents our bird feeders (would appreciate suggestions, though)...
Our resident Blue Jays were cheerfully eating the sunflower seeds the melting snow and ice revealed..While a Mourning Dove calmly ate it's fill too!
Been busy! Husband, Jon's, Etsy Shop sales as a woodcarver), have replaced his lost income from the bakery (after he had a couple of strokes), plus more! Looking to open a jewelry store for him at Etsy also! I continue to work at the bakery until sales call me home to work permanently!
In the meantime, I continue to hope, love and find peace at Birch Meadows Farm!
