I can imagine the scenery and situation. Im sure the fleet of plows are ready. Let them do their thing then back to normal tomorrow.

Currently here in Aurora, ME, 33F Degrees, Dew Point 26F Degrees, Winds - West 12mph.....A Wind Advisory is out for our area from 6:00 pm Friday to 6:00 pm Saturday with winds 15-25mph with Gusts to 45mph!

Finally landed on this forum after being on a Winter Northern Hemisphere 2018-2019, only to realize it was a photographic Forum! LOL! I thought, "What the hell is going on here!!! Where is Cambium and the others who report so faithfully!"
So, a foggy, wet day greeted us today! Rain continued to melt the remaining glaciers of snow-drifts in the Birch Meadows..Spied Little Sammy Acorn (our tiny, resident Red Squirrel), perched on top of the Bird Feeder Pole, gobbling suet. Haven't named our solo (he does not travel with a flock), Black-Capped Chickadee who frequents our bird feeders (would appreciate suggestions, though)...
Our resident Blue Jays were cheerfully eating the sunflower seeds the melting snow and ice revealed..While a Mourning Dove calmly ate it's fill too!
Been busy! Husband, Jon's, Etsy Shop sales as a woodcarver), have replaced his lost income from the bakery (after he had a couple of strokes), plus more! Looking to open a jewelry store for him at Etsy also! I continue to work at the bakery until sales call me home to work permanently!
In the meantime, I continue to hope, love and find peace at Birch Meadows Farm!

So hopefully we'll get lots of snow

But look at Seattle. They could have more snow than NYC has had all season

Sorry to hear, Just the way it goes. Wish we all can win at the same time. Storm just too far south for you looks like.

Next week... Jet Stream continues to dig in the West. What a pattern for Pac NW. At least the Jet is south of NYC. Not much but I'll take it I guess.
