Intense rain since early this AM. Pretty good wind gusts as well. Lots of flooding. Inland, people still getting around and going to work, but traffic is slow for obvious reasons.

About to head home to my house near the coast...but not too close. Should be ok if the power stays on

Hope it stays on for you. You're on the warmer side of the storm for now.. till it starts moving south and away soon but so will the precip so I don't think you'll get any snow from this.. Keep us posted.


I don't have a generator but I have a car power adapter I can plug my laptop in to keep tracking this storm. Would use my cell phone service for internet access.

Wind Gusts are reaching the speed limit here without much precip going on. Temp 35°. Pressure 991mb here but center of the storm is a powerful 974mb!


I can only imagine the blizzard conditions going on with these winds and where it's snowing.

Southern New England got screwed out of a historic snowstorm with this. If storm was 100 miles more East we would of gotten feet of snow..
