Since I'm invested... Update::

Probably the last one, since it should be gone in few days.

19th day in a row...in March... with this deck and shade snow around. Finally GOODBYE

Who has the biggest difference?

NYC:
Feb: 42.0°
March: 38.6°

Islip:
Feb: 39.1°
March: 36.7°

Boston:
Feb: 38.1°
March: 36.0°

Philly:
Feb: 41.9°
March: 38.3°

Binghamton:
Feb: 30.9°
March: 26.6°

Pittsburgh:
Feb: 38.8°
March: 32.5°

Richmond:
Feb: 47.8°
March: 41.9°

Raleigh:
Feb: 52.3°
March:43.8°

Atlantic City:
Feb: 42.8°
March: 38.5°

DC:
Feb: 45.3°
March: 41.8°

Lexington:
Feb: 44.9°
March: 44.0°

Nashville:
Feb: 50.1°
March: 48.9°

Indianapolis:
Feb: 37.7°
March: 37.0°

Miami:
Feb: 76.4°
March: 69.8°

Atlanta:
Feb: 57.3°
March: 52.6°
So my hunch was correct, anomalies focused on Raleigh and northeastern nc where the deepest negative anomalies can be found... atlanta running about average for march and almost 10 degrees warmer than us when we would be roughly the same.... almost as cold as up north here.

Over 4,000 customers lost power Saturday evening and about half of them are still without it. AEP says they expect to have the remainder back by midnight on Wednesday but it might be into Thursday before that really is the case.

Friends just came to have showers, recharge cell phones, fill water containers and I also gave them 6 small propane canisters for their coleman stove. They didn't want that many, said they could go to Wal-Mart and buy some but I said that Walmart could very well be sold out at this point. They took all 6 with a promise to replace them all.

Latest GFS looks very Nina-like for the PNW. Cold and wet.

Funny it shows a blue spot over us, yet NWS is predicting a high over 3°C above normal for us on Monday
