bike ride on Saturday before last. City doesn't bother plow residential side streets; leaving them a crummy mix of packed snow and slush. with non-knobby tires hard to go at a decent speed, at least the stretch was short. 6-8°C, first mild day with sun in a while



downhill, thankfully snow-free



nearly all the rural roads were cleared at least



chickens crossing the road; car slowed for the chickens



partly ice-covered stream



porcupine froze on the tree when he saw me





downhill back into town, close to sunset. Getting later at 4:50 pm.

Yea, we have different tastes in favorite landscapes. I know what you mean, but chickens aren't wildlife. Another from that weekend. Sunday before last. Patriots Man-cave home has gotten more elaborate. 4 times champions

Greenwich, CT near the NY border.


This home has 9 bathrooms. 4 Car garage which you can wash the vehicle in. 5 Fireplaces. 13,000 square feet with Home theater, Wine Cellar, Game Room, & Exercise room. Heated Pool and Spa too.


Architect was inspired by chateau-style mansions in France and Europe.





Little snowfall this morning.





Used over 2 cords this winter.
