Parts of South Dakota have less than 6" so far, extremely dry there. And there's a band of 24-36" in southern Minnesota that's between two patches of 6-12".

Syracuse, NY:

November: 5"
December: 33.5"
January: 45"
February: 9.5"

Total to date: 93"

Average to date: 80"

Normal season snowfall total: 124"

We are supposed to get another 8-12" of snow on Wednesday, which will bring Syracuse over the 100" snow total for the season. Looks to be an average year for snowfall totals unless we get a big noreaster in March like we did last year.

Hope California gets some more snow this winter. Last I saw the Sierra Nevada snowpack was just 14% of average.
