It was up to 40F at noon, so the snow is melting quickly unfortunately. Not that much left right now.

It's still only 24° as of 2:40 pm. It's been quite cold today. Our dusting of snow has even survived the peaks of Sun today

Record low max is 43 and min 34... looks like records broken. Also this is the earliest snowfall on record there.

3 Maps..

This afternoons Upper Heights.. Still with the tilt and Ridges over Atlantic and West Coast...

3pm Radar and who's reporting what.. Heavy Snow rates coming outlined in blue. Might be a bad commute in VA & MD today. Atlanta switched back to rain.

Cool look without the radar... 5000' temps and who's reporting what. Need this level to be at or below freezing to get snow. If its not it will be rain....or ice when surface itself is below freezing.

1pmEST Dec 8th map. Brownsville Texas still reporting light snow and 34°F. 30s down to the Louisiana and Mississippi coasts. Isn't the water temp like in the 70s?

Snowing hard in Western NC, starting to change over in the burbs of Raleigh now

I told you guys 6 days ago we will be seeing 80's for 6 days or more.

Sorry to hear, hopefully you get some better breaks moving forward before Spring gets here.

Looks like a freeze in store for northern Florida.

Latest Alerts.. Still just an Advisory here, I forget what the criteria for a Winter Storm Watch is. Maybe 6"?

Also.... good reminder anywhere that still has snow left on ground tonight with clear skies, temps will tank maybe lower than forecasts
