Well it's only early December. Who knows, but I think the lower plains are due snow and cold soon enough.
Well I'll be back in North Carolina from December 18-January 15, so if the lower plains get cold and snow then I'll miss it.

I don't see a single high below 50 in my 10 day forecast, just some nights in the mid-upper 20s. It's a shame the cold blast is completely missing the southwest half of the country.
Wunderground is calling for 49F here on Wednesday, though NWS is forecasting 51F. Then highs in the 50's for the remainder of the week. The coldest low I see is 29F on Saturday night.
Looks like we narrowly missed reaching 80F today. It got up to 79F. Hopefully that's the warmest it gets this month.
A good chance of thunderstorms with the frontal passage tomorrow morning.
The "RRR" or "Ridiculously Resilient Ridge" could be making a comeback. No precip expected over the west coast stretching all the way up to BC over the next 2 weeks.
oh great more cold coming. Another 2014 or 2015 repeat?
