Winds have died down a lot now; wonder what totals Maine will get

even Feb 2015 didn't have a week as cold as what's in my forecast; especially by maxes. I'm going to go through station data

37 minutes of bright sun over the past week. That's abundant sunshine in my books.

The weather in northeast Georgia was PERFECT for Christmas! The morning low temperature was 31°F, and the afternoon high temperature was 46°F. What a refreshing change from the last two Christmases! The sky was mostly cloudy throughout the day, but it had a bright, silvery quality to it, with plenty of cirrus and altostratus clouds. This is the kind of weather I've long been accustomed to at Christmastime, and I'm glad this Christmas was more in line with them. Going forward, I'm looking forward to experiencing our coldest air mass since February 2015 for the remainder of this week, and into the New Year!

Awesome loop that shows the radar and surface pressure from 3pm Dec 23rd to 9pm Dec 25th.

Here's a map of the snow totals past 3 days. Wow Maine

Zoomed in. I only question the 6-8" in CT and MA there but this is a 3 day total so maybe. I did see 5" fall just yesterday morning. Maybe another 1" fell days before.
