I doubt that it will last for a whole month (one can certainly dream though). 10-15 days at most I think.

Feb 2015 was just extremely anomalous, I think that was the single-coldest month in NY State history as well as top-three coldest for KNYC where records have been kept since 1885.

Feb 2015 was only our fourth coldest February (though it did include a low of -18°F!)

The other thing that stands out about 2015 is the 31.8" of snow from Feb 16 - Mar 5. As of right now there's no accumulating snow in my forecast, despite being cold throughout.
