They were long and annoying, especially with top-5 coldest Marches both years and annoyingly below average Aprils. Ugh.

Yes, but not as much as I'd hoped upon looking. We will be transitioning into a southerly flow and usually we get good setups for some good storms in those scenarios, especially after heatwaves.

The last time I had a t-storm was August 23. The heavy rainfall I got from Harvey was thunderless, and didn't really feel that summer-like.

I've never been caught in a storm while at the beach. Although it's happened to me on the boardwalk (in Wildwood, NJ and Atlantic City, NJ) multiple times. Having to run a couple of miles to your hotel in a severe thunderstorm isn't exactly fun (...maybe a little lol).
