Heh, the GFS knows that Somerset County, PA has a high elevation.

Speaking of March snowstorms, remember that one back in 1993? That was awesome.

COULD THIS BE? Could this be the start of the North trends today?

Looking at the 1st storm only... NAM12z is north more with the Low. Could the NAM model be picking up that the Polar High Pressure wont be as strong or as far south now??

We're still maxing out at a 1-3" event along the path with this 1st one but now its figuring out who's on the southern and Northern fringes.

Last 3 runs of the NAM for Friday 7am time frame.

Bit North, North and North more.

GFS has continually kept me in the Bullseye. Hopefully we get slammed, but this is looking better and better

Got excited.. GFS12z is a tick north more with first storm but its a tick SOUTH more again with 2nd storm. WTF>! ? Any more south and there wont be a snowstorm. lol Poor Raleigh on this new run.

Wasn't the Euro the first to show this far south as well with the snow?? GFS took like 3 days to catch up?

GFS12z says the storm exits South Carolina

Right now Wunderground is showing 3" on Saturday, with a high of 36F. NWS has a high of 42F with a chance of snow and rain, and the discussion calls it "something to watch". Just have to wait and see. Looks like it's already trending the way of previous ones, though.

This is ridiculously south for March. Hopefully it will drift north, or we will get another Marchtarctica like im 2014 and 2015
