Well, uhmmm, Bradford pears are leafing and cherries have been dropping there blossoms past few days. Dear God give us a miracle with no freezes this march, happened before so please happen again.

Jacaranda Mimosifolia is native from South Central South America, including Northern Argentina who may get below freezing temperatures during worsts cold waves.
So, specimens taken from there probably can survive to freezing for some hours.
Accuweather Long Ranger Paulie P says he changed March & Spring outlook. Can't find an article on it yet but here's his video where he shows these updated maps.
He left New England "normal" due to the snowpack and temps may struggle on the warm surges
The above normal precip in the east he says he can see being south more but he's worried the Southeast ridge will deflect the main storms north more.
Negative PNA = trough out west and systems coming into the West Coast.
Positive NAO = no blocking in the North Atlantic so nothing is keeping the cold in the Eastern U.S.
Both these situations add up to warm surges in the East.
Narrowly escaped a freeze this morning, bottomed out at 33°F. No freezes in the forecast, but I doubt we've seen the last one. The last freeze here typically occurs about a month from now.
