What it feels like...
Meanwhile, today is going to be more like April 30th here than March 11th. We are going to hit 89°F/31.7°C, while our normal high today is 77°F/25°C
Meanwhile, Here in Aurora, ME, 0℉/-17.78℃, Dew Point -6℉/-21.11℃, Winds WNW 11mph/17.70kph, Partly Cloudy..
Awoke to sun shining through the windows this morning, drew the drapes to stand for a moment, absorbing the light....Enjoying a steaming hot cup of organic, dark roast coffee and pondering the day as I gaze out the windows beholding the Birch Meadows...Bare and tan is the grass that is now absent of snow....Icebergs skim across her, where snow drifts once were...Outrageously high drifts have led us to investigate snow fences for the future...
Awaiting the storm...(and possibly up to 18" of snow). I'm hoping it will just pass out to sea....Like many others, I'd prefer not to have to dig out after another snowstorm and either miss or be late to work....It's not so bad if the storm comes on a weekend and we have a day after to dig out, but this beginning of the week or mid-week stuff can be tiring...
In the meantime, still enjoying our three day weekends while we work four-10 hour days....It truly allows us time...time to do what we enjoy the most....experiencing this beautiful land and it's seasons, together!

Wish I was there. We are getting Mid January temps and not just for a day. Suddenly (past couple months) I wish there wasn't a ridge in the West. lol
-24F temp just north of Quebec City....wind chill -44F
Impressive arctic airmass for this time of year.
Meanwhile here it has crept into the 40's today and its the first day of the year where any sun strength could be felt. Sometimes it's better to be near Santa Claus and the North Pole
In Upstate NY we might get seasonable weather back next weekend. For New York, nothing even remotely seasonable until the 15 day forecast, and that can still change. Marchtarctica continues. Or should it be Marchberia? Marchlaska?
