Closing in on 7" on my makeshift snowboard. Saw a fallen tree while I was out just now.
Should actually be closing in on 10" now, not 7". All I can do is laugh, a foot of snow out of a storm that was never supposed to give us much more than a coating.

Time to shake them off. Shoveled twice out there and its heart attack type snow. Be careful guys
Yes, even some of the smaller/medium sized rhododendrons are pinned to the ground under the weight of this snow, so glad I covered some things over. The pines and conifers look great in it though, even if they are weighed down.
Here in Aurora, ME, 29F, Snowing heavily, accumulation of at least 6" at around 3:00pm. Snow beginning to blow in drifts (which is amazing because it's so wet and I had a hell of a time shoveling)! Winds, North 10mph, gusts 17mph.
Hoping with the winds we won't lose our electricity (thankful I was able to get a nice hot shower after shoveling, though), actually still amazed it's on!
Update to Aurora, ME, its 26F Still snowing and snow blowing all over the place! Wind NNW 10mph - gusts 20mph- it's now 6:38 and at least four plus inches have fallen since I last wrote to a total 10+ inches! Looks like we may easily make the 12" forecasted
