New 18z GFS.. Ridiculous Gradient..

This is amount of moisture it projects to fall. Nothing in Northern CT almost 2 inches on Long island.

Less than 1/2" for Allentown, PA, Almost 2 inches for Philly. That is a lot of moisture for all snow!

Ed Valley Thinks..

A few select city snowfall ranges:
NYC: 8-12"
PHL: 12-18"
DC: 12-18", locally 24"
Bridgeport, CT: 4-8"
Hartford, CT: 3-6"
Boston: 1-3"

Why are they just not doing the map to when they think the storm will end (i.e. 11pm Saturday, 3am Sunday, etc.)? Just kind of fools you into thinking the storm will be less than it is.....

always glad Im not a forecaster. Boy they have it tough on the northern fringe especially.

Its when we just have to keep refreshing the page for the forecast update. Those extra balloons will help but tomorrow afternoon things get more clearer

A typical scene from North Carolina to Virginia this evening. Whats funny is DC is getting moderate snow right now. Not storm related. Pre game warmup for them
