Just looked at the models...the first week of April looks like January!? I don't think i've ever seen a cold airmass this deep so late in the season . So awesome to witness.

Here are the surface anomalies for April 4th from the GFS12z today

Here are the minimum temps from GFS12z for April 4th. I would say it wont be 'that' deep but maybe 20s to upstate North Carolina? Freeze Warnings would have to go out.

Looks similar to the cold snap that happened in early April of 2007.

Record low for April is 23. Your showing me a map that will break all time records in some places. Hell no. No one in their right mind would want that, many trees are fully leafed now. Honestly the damage this will do. Pivotal weathers GFS latest run has 33 over Raleigh. Teens over nyc. No one should want this. how long do I have to wait to put my darn plants into the ground? I should be getting my last frost around that time not my last freaking arctic deep freeze.

No its not awesome at all. I already imagine it, trees are mostly fully leafed, cold like that kills those leaves and things would not become fully leafed again till may. Freaking May. The damage this does is unspeakable.

Magical!

If I wanted a certain type of weather I'd hope for it regardless of "damage" to plants. If plants are damaged by the cold of any region it's just a sign they shouldn't be there in the first place.

Yes magical, let it come even later and you will magically pay higher prices for your magical goods that magically suffice your hunger and you magically buy at the grocery store.

Yeah, I'll pay 1.99 instead of 0.99. Disastrous. If what is being shown were to transpire it would more than compensate for any miniscule fluctuation in price

Look at that dig!! APRIL 4
