Lot of bird noise now. Noticed it this evening since I have the window open.
I love hearing birds sing. We reached 66 today which is very impressive, since last year we had to wait until mid-April the last two years for this weather.
Didn't get much today. A t'storm came close this evening but moved to the north. Flash flood warnings and a tornado warning in northwest Louisiana right now.
It looks like the heaviest amounts of rain here will come tomorrow and into Thursday. Here's the latest projected rainfall.
Crazy to see those numbers actually being forecasted, I've never seen that here, although we've gotten totals like that in freak events. I wouldn't be surprised if some spots get well over a foot.
We hit 78 today. That was the warmest temperature since October 23. And now it's supposed to hit 80 tomorrow.
A couple days around 80 is not uncommon in March, but the fact that 8 out of the next 9 days are supposed to hit 75 is what really annoys me. I don't mind this level of warmth in May, but in March, when the trees are still bare and I've adapted to winter temperatures it feels hotter.

It seems like the Texas-Louisiana border often gets high totals. Between Oct 23-26, 2015, there was a radar estimated total of over 13 inches in an area.
