Where I circled is a given that the warmth will continue until mid month at least. Multiple mid 60s and 70s days. Basically the Mid Atlantic
But you see the front draped across southern Canada? This is a future look at the surface map tomorrow evening. Basically there's going to be a back door front coming. Timing and how strong still in question so the battle ground (orange line) is there. Either it's going to get chilly again north of that line but that line could be north of where I have it.
News Channel 8 forecast for interior CT you can see the front cools things down Thursday night but stays still above normal into next week. Just not as warm as it will be south of that front obviously
When was the last time you saw the Jet stream dive to Southern Mexico???? And when was the last time Texas was "too far north" for snow?!
Also notice the streamline flow from the Pacific to the Eastern U.S.
I bet Florida wishes the Jet Stream would dive that far south. Get an Upper low like that over the Gulf States and it will.
Guadalajara is getting down to 14c tomorrow, even though the average high in March there is around 29c! Crazy
winter has finally arrived here, it is 6c and raining heavily. The sky is completely grey and the next few days should be below average or average at best. The air smells like it is goind to snow (but we'll remain above 0c)
For today, we will continue to see plenty of mid-high level moisture
stream northward from the Gulf coast states. This will result in
partly to mostly cloudy conditions across the region this afternoon.
Afternoon high temperatures will be warmer than what we saw Monday
afternoon with readings warming into the lower to middle 70s. Some
mid-upper 70s will be possible across our eastern sections. If
sufficient sun occurs, a shot at 80 will be possible and could
possibly tie/break a record high at Lexington.
67F in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I've gotten so used to crazy temperature swings this winter that it's not even phasing me. Snow one day, t-shirt weather the next? No problem!
