Good call on changing it to March like instead of April like. Add wind into the mix too.

Forecast Max temps for Sunday and the departure from normal.

high 50s is normal for early or mid April, still warmer than average for March. Hmm. Upstate NY will be colder

I wonder if any lake effect snow will happen in northern Michigan or Upstate NY?

Didn't think you were the sort to post petty sarcastic comments, that's more of a ben86 thing.

What I posted was correct, anyway.

I know it's been cool there and warm in the PNW over the past couple of years (though you guys just had a warmer than average winter, so the complaining you guys are doing I really don't get) but the way you guys go on about it you would think the same pattern has been going on since 1900. Seriously, three years doesn't tell you anything about some climatic regime coming up. Over the next nine months, it could warmer than average for eight of those months with one below normal month, and you guys will harp on that one month.

BTW - I'm not trying to be an ass or anything, but it gets annoying every time I go on this thread some annoying discussion on that is going on, and not just this thread but other threads too. It's become almost an obsession.
We don't do it to annoy guys, we do it to show our frustration with the climate that has been throwing us very few bones recently (aside from the past El Nino winter). Since the start of 2014, Binghamton NY has had just 12 above average months and 16 (soon to be 17) months below average. This is stunning considering that overall the world is supposed to getting warmer. If you use the 1990-2010 averages instead of the 80-10 or the 50-80 that they use now, it would look even worse compared to the usual. It gets annoying looking at the forecast each time and seeing red anomalies all over the US, almost everywhere in the world actually, except for a lonely dark blue dot chilling over Quebec and Northeast US. It really tests your patience, you know

Also you will see that we don't complain often except when it's this sort of pattern. In fact I think I barely posted here in December or January when it was warm

I've had about 23 above normal months compared to 5 below normal months since 2014, a much worse ratio than you guys. And on top of that I probably live in the climate most against my preferences compared to anyone else on here, and I don't complain even half as much as you guys. I understand that the weather hasn't been to your liking lately but what is constant whining going to solve?

At the highest elevations maybe. Surface temperatures are too warm further down.
