Relieved! The temps for the next four days are now expected to be 50/41, 64/32, 49/32 and 56/51. The real cold's range is retreating to be from Philadelphia onward. In there should be less ice issues; with the coldest lows at freezing, the temperature shouldn't stay there too long.

Reminds me of the February cold snap, the coldest air kept moving northeastward. The NYC area ended up getting blasted with the coldest air in over 20 years while the Philadelphia region and south were mostly spared.
Again next week???? Holy Crap. I havent even checked anything on that.

RECORD WARMTH LIKELY FOR PORTIONS OF THE WEST NEXT WEEK...
...RECORD COLD LIKELY FOR PORTIONS OF THE EAST...
THE EAST WILL BE IN FOR SUBSTANTIALLY COLDER THAN AVERAGE TEMPERATURES EARLY IN THE WEEK AND PERHAPS AGAIN LATER IN THE WEEK.
APPROACHING AND DEVELOPING SYSTEM FOR LATER IN
THE WEEK WILL AT LEAST BRING IN A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF
PRECIPITATION TO NEW ENGLAND AS ATLANTIC MOISTURE GETS PULLED
NORTHWARD -- TAPPED FROM CUBA AND THE BAHAMAS. SEVERAL INCHES OF
SNOW MAY BE POSSIBLE ON THE COLD SIDE OF THE STATIONARY BOUNDARY
TO THE NORTH/NORTHWEST OF THE MAIN SURFACE LOW. COLD ADVECTION
BEHIND THE FRONT IN THE MID-ATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST HAS THE
POTENTIAL TO BRING IN VERY COLD TEMPERATURES FOR APRIL --
FREEZES/FROSTS MAY BE POSSIBLE QUITE FAR SOUTH

The forecast is having mercy on us and they raised the forecast by 2c for Tuesday. And it's still gonna be 25c lower than my desired temperature in April *sighs*
