3:30am Hartford had Thundersnow





6:40am snowing across southern New England. Winds gusting over 45mph pink wind barbs.


4.7 inches of snow in Vernon, CT
4.5 inches in Staffordville, CT
4.0" in Tolland, CT

And the -10C line about to come over the area. Wow. That is very cold for April!


Notice where the Arctic front went south to. Around North Carolina. Below freezing up and down the Appalachians from NC/TN

What a crazy band in Eastern MA. Snow rates are heavy. Those under that band (which was in NE CT earlier) will pick up another 2-4" of snow.


notice the wind chills in Western PA. Check out the OBS for Marthas Vineyard where its snowing there now.

Flurrying here. We will get these on and off snow showers today.

Wind are whipping out there today. Saw a flash of lighting around midnight last night.

31 F/-1 C with a windchill of 19 F/-7 C. Power went out for a second...thankfully came back.

Does this count as snow?
