I'm looking forward to it because we're only gonna be in the mid/upper 20s here on the coast so it'll feel like ideal summer weather for me, but I definitely wouldn't want to be in the interior. It gets much too hot for my liking during heatwaves there.

The forecast high for today is only 55F, so it might be broken again.

It only reached 53F (12C) for the high temperature at Islip on June 2nd.

That sets the record for lowest high temperature recorded at ISP during the month of June.

It obliterates the old record of 57F, which was set just yesterday on June 1st.

Latest Euro00z data for Danbury,CT & Lexington, KY.

This area and most of New England stays near or below normal till mid next week. Have to wait another 7+ days for 80s and even that is mid range so who knows. Notice the dew points don't get back into the 60s until it warms up. Shows no rain till Tuesday. Not sure I buy that!

Lexington 80s looks to start in 2 days and those dew points stay in the 60s mostly. Rain on Monday and late next week.
