Yup...looks like it held. I'm impressed by this air. I made the mistake looking at the lows for extremes I didn't think to look at the low Max temps. Thanks to the clouds too of course.

Just amazing to see a whole different season with just an 8 hour drive from here. I'm going to struggle past mid 50s again today.

I always love how summer fronts stop in the northern Mid Atlantic in the summer. I feel lucky to be on the north side of it most of the time.

=========================

Rainfall totals per radar estimates last 24hrs. Looks like a nice area of 2-4"+ in S NJ, MD, DE, & VA.

I wonder if they will update the map for the Northeast especially New England. Then again, it is NOAA and sometimes they only have 1 color marker. lol

Of course, POR is only 1984.
Here's Islip's Coldest Max temps in June each year. 2014 had the 2nd warmest. 2015 coldest.

Ok, enough is enough now, make it stop. Should clear out tonight. 60 hours of rain/clouds.

Current temp departures 1pm. 50s down to NJ. I thought it was cold here. This is impressive. 22 below normal in Bangor. Pretty much 10-25 below normal from Tennessee Valley to New England.
