Kosanica did it today: -2.2 C! Is it a new monthly record low for Montenegro?

Yes, yesterday's minimum in Kosanica is a new Montenegrin lowest record for July.
Yesterday's low in Karajukića Bunari of -1.4c was very close to lowest temperature recorded in July in K. Bunari since 1990. Lowest temperature in Karajukića Bunari in July in previous 32 years was -1.5c in 1990s.
Previous lowest record in Montenegro broken yesterday by Kosanica was +0.4c in Žabljak.
Njegovuđa as well yesterday had lower minimum (-0.6c) than that now only Žabljak's lowest record for July, not Montenegrin anymore.
Kosanica yesterday proved as many times since weather station is open than is on steroids in comparison with Sjenica which for decades has reputation as cold place in former Yugoslavia. Between yesterday's minimum in Kosanica of -2.2c and in Sjenica of +1.4c is a serious difference. In winter Kosanica can have even for about 10c lower minimums than Sjenica. Lowest temperature in Sjenica in July since 1949 was "only" -0.5c (it was over 70 years ago), and Kosanica yesterday deep in 21st century was colder than that.
Also, yesterday's minimum in Kosanica was identical as lowest temperature in July recorded in Ardahan (eastern Turkey) since 1958.

Surprisingly, Lake Charles has the same (-5 Celsius) record low in November as Tampa. And Ocracoke (perhaps less surprisingly, but still) has a warmer record November low (-3.9 Celsius) than both.
There was a little-known cold wave in the Southeastern US on October 29-30, 2017. Perhaps it is so little known because it wasn't as drastic as stronger winter cold waves, like those to occur later that winter season.
Different locations were differently impacted, but the most impacted locations I know of came within less than 1 degree of tying all time October record lows. Those being Shreveport (-1.7 degrees on the 29th to an all time monthly low of -2.2 degrees) and Key West (15.6 degrees on the 30th to an all time monthly low of 15 degrees).
It also led to some wacky weather because of jet stream positioning. Calgary was warmer than Houston on the 29th, as was Caribou (Maine) compared to Archbold Biological Station (Florida) on the 30th.
Finally, it was the 'perfect' thing to balance out the very early last freeze in some places that winter. IE: Alexandria, Louisiana's last freeze was January 9.

In Kosanica this morning was significant milder than yesterday due to clouds. Places which recorded frost this morning: Karajukića Bunari -2.7c , Njegovuđa -2.5c , Gornja Bukovica -2.1c , Žabljak -0.8c , Kosanica -0.6c , Boan -0.6c , Kovren 0c

June and August this year passed without frost (in June lowest temperature was 0.1c). But in July there was two days with frost; on July 12 min was -2.2c and on July 14 -0.2c
From July 15 to September 12 Kosanica was without morning frost. On September 13 min was -0.7c. In this September currently Kosanica had 3 days with frost.
