On Long Island?? You talking about a tiny patch where it was shoveled??

Islip has a foot of snowpack on ground still. Bridgeport 11". NYC 8". Newark, NJ 6". LaGuardia 4". JFK 4"

Was it under a Pine tree or something. Got a picture?

From NWS Taunton MA: Boston tied the snowfall record for the date from....another blockbuster storm just two years past! Seasonal snow now at 77.3", just 1.9" behind the next benchmark of 1915/16, which is 8th all-time. More stunningly, just 1.5" to match the record snowiest February (2003)!
