It's an utter mess out here (Brattleboro, VT). It's like soup or stew, or trying to wade in wet cement.
No idea amount of precip. bc. it's been so mixed (rain, snow, ice-melting & freezing together).

We had freezing rain here in NW NJ this morning. Accidents reported and schools were delayed. Schools closed across the border in PA. I went into work a little later this morning to avoid the ice since it changed over to plain rain. Got pretty heavy at times.

Now a possibility for a couple inches of snow tomorrow. Exciting weather!

Impressive for a winter storm. I assume the rainfall rate wasn't that high due to low-ish dew points? I wonder what the precipitable water column was? Coastal California has dew points in the upper 50s, so they should be more likely to get heavy rainfall in their storm, does that sound correct?

We're getting hammered here in upper VT right now. Changed from sleet to snow around 3 and has only been increasing in strength. Dogs don't even want to be out there!
