That was when the Bermuda High was just stuck there.

Here are the averages from 2010 to 2013 at MDW. 2010 was a good summer. 2011 had a great July. Very muggy if I recall correctly. 2012 had an epic July. 2013 was LAME.

2014 hasn't been uploaded to this site yet, but June was above normal, as was August but only slightly. Problem is, that July was so much below normal that it negated both June and August's positive gains.

lol! I will help you.. I felt like a hermit sitting in A/C day and night. I gave up pulling weeds in the veggie garden. Was just too nasty outside. Nice Find!

And on a similar note... Snowstorm tomorrow check out the dewpoints in the area right now... 25 below normal! Philly at 7°F. NYC at 1°. NUTS!!! Moisture will fall and make the column drop to freezing or below..

I remember those graphs lol. July 2013 was to humidity/mugginess what Feb 2015 was to cold. I recall dews hitting 80F along the North Shore of LI, I believe KISP topped out at 78F. But even with all that heat and humidity, it was a dud as far as thunderstorms go, 2012 was much better in that regard.

We hit 81 in 2011. But more impressive was the mean of 70 for the whole month of July. Those were the days.

History is on Upstate NY's side. Last year March 26 was the last day that the temps failed to reach 32F, and that March was a bit worse than this one up to this point. Last winter was no walk in the park either, so I think around March 26 is a realistic expectation for our last freezing high
