Hartford (BDL) has 4 days this month max temp above 73°F. Only 1 of 110 years had more for first 5 days of May. 2010. ITS RARELY THIS WARM THIS MANY TIMES THIS EARLY. lol Cool.
Do you have the map with the highest temps reached so far this year by location?

Here it hasn't gotten past 86F (30C) yet. NWS doesn't show anything above 86F over the next week, while TWC shows 89F for this Friday.

High of 77F here today, 71F with 66F dewpoint now. Coolest spot in nation south of Illinois and east of colorado. Can't say that too often!

Eastern Florida was the only place warmer on March 5 than May 5.

Our May last year was decent with a couple of 90 degree days, followed by a decent June. It was July that was a complete fail. August was normal. Let's see what how this pattern evolves as we approach summer
