Unfortunately we skipped May and jumped right into June. Hard to believe slightly over a month ago (April 1st), I woke up to temps in the teens with snow on the ground.
Wow, you had teens on April 1st? Impressive!
Lowest low in April here this year was 65 F, which is the average low on April 1st.
I saw a firefly today for the first time this year. The trees are also almost fully leafed out and it is supposed to get into the 80s most of the days of the next two weeks. This makes it feel as though we've entered what I would call "low summer", or the period from around the start of May to mid June where it is generally moderately hot and humid, but not that uncomfortable. During this time it usually cools off to around 60 at night as well. We also have similar weather from around mid September to early October.
This is total open the windows weather. Finally can have them open all night, every night.
Lol, I'd by covered in bug bites if I did that from Jun-Sep. (May is too early for a high bug population, at least the mosquitoes are pretty rare now)
It's staying in the 80's for the week. If accuweather is too be belived, every single day from now until Jun.17 will be that way (except May. 19). A lot of sun and thunderstorms also. It is basically a few degrees off of fully fledged summer at this point

Oh I know they are but they creeped me out nonetheless!
